Our Own Imports
 
Over the years we have always purchased our wines through local agents. Now, for the first time, most of our Italian portfolio, will be imported directly from the vineyard.
We have chosen 3 very important wineries in Northern Tuscany who all farm Bio-Dynamically and mostly produce from 30 year old organic vines :
Fattoria di Fubbiano, Tenuta Di Valgiano and Fattoria di Montechiari.
Included in the selection will be 2 Super Tuscans, Sangiovesse, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Vermentino, Aleatico and a wonderful Spumante Rose which will feature as our house Champagne.
The 3 winemakers work relatively small vineyards to produce outstanding quality and very often with significant economic sacrifice. We are hugely impressed with how passionate they are, not only about their land and history but about new techniques, organic agriculture and constantly improving the quality of their wine.
All three are recognised by Italy’s most authoritative guides like the Gambero Rosso, L’espresso and Luca Maroni’s guide to the best Italian wine.
